イディオム work one's way through something「働きながら（学校など）に通う（を卒業する）」

確約

「秘密は口外しないと確約する」
I give you my word of honor (that) I will keep your secret.

イディオム give (somebody) one's word (of honor) (that) 〜「（名誉にかけて）（人に）〜すると約束する」「誓う」

駆けずり回る

「彼女はいつも仕事でいつも駆けずり回っている」
She is always on the trot at his work.

発想「駆けずり回る」→「忙しく立ち回る」

イディオム on the trot「せわしなく動いて」「とても忙しくて」

* 簡単にHe always keeps himself busy with his work.でもよい。

加減

「相手は子どもなんだから加減してあげなさい」
You have to take into account that he's only a child.
